Farmland is a block which you can plant at wheat seeds and potatoes, it will often turn back to dirt if the it is walked on or an item drop collides into it and drop its seed. Farmland can by hit using a shovel but doesn't drop the seed and the player must be holding nothing in order for it to be harvested.

Trivia

• Arrows that are shot from a skeleton or a player with a bow cannot turn farmland back to dirt.
