The Day-night cycle is a mechanic in Minicraft Plus. This allows hostile mobs to spawn in the Overworld and the Sky World when night falls. The nature of the night in Minicraft requires lighting if the player wishes to retain the same visibility as in the day, accomplished most cheaply with torches. The day-night cycle lasts for 10 minutes. Each world created can start on day.
